
London Drops Fourth Straigtht Game

(WINDSOR, ON) - The London Lightning have now dropped four straight games after tonight's 107-103 loss to the Windsor Express. The Lightning battled through with only eight healthy players and held a 12 point lead during the first quarter. Despite the Lightning lead heading into the second quarter, the Express outscored the Bolts in the remaining three quarters.
London is yet to play a game at full strength this season as injuries and sickness have ravaged Coach Plumb's roster. Mareik was out tonight as well as Jaylon Tate who is still on the IR. In addition, forward Mo Bolden was placed on the Inactive Roster list prior to the game for personal reason.
Coming back from injury tonight was league MVP candidate, Xavier Moon, who led all scorers with 35 points on the night to go along with 9 assists. AJ Gaines broke out of his recent slump and finished with 27 points (19 in the first half) and 10 rebounds. Veterans Marcus Capers and Randy Phillips each added 16 and 14 respectively.
The Lightning's roadtrip continues next Wednesday the 26th as the Lightning are back in Windsor to take on the Express with a chance at some revenge.
