
Locomotion Perfect in Pre Season Play

The Chattanooga Locomotion Women's Professional Football Team is on track to continue their quest for a national championship with two wins this past weekend. The Locomotion beat the Muscle Shoals Smashers 52 - 0, then went on to beat the Baltimore Burn 13 - 12 in preseason play at Finley Stadium.
The Locomotion won the Southern Division Championship last season with an undefeated preseason and regular season only to lose to Oklahoma City in the second round of playoffs. This year's team is on its way to a perfect season again with this weekend's wins during the Girls of the Gridiron Jamboree that benefited Girls. Inc.
Amanda Horner of the Locomotion won the Quarterback Throwing Distance Challenge while Melissa McCranie of the Locomotion won the Quarterback Accuracy Challenge against players from around the league. The Locomotion swept the competitions with Audrey Russell winning the Punting Distance honors and Amanda Lebo winning the Field Goal Distance Competition. Audrey Russell also won the competition in the 40 Yard Dash Challenge.
The Locomotion play their first home game of the regular season on April 17 at Chattanooga Central High School at 7:00 PM.
