Local Hero Matt Chulis Signs for The Long Island Rough Riders

The Long Island Rough Riders announced today the signing of Central Islip born Matt Chulis. The former MLS player and U-20 National team captain will be a starter in tomorrow's home opener against the New Hamphire Phantoms.

Jim Kilmeade the General Manager of the Rough Riders said, 'Matt Chulis will be a great signing for the Rough Riders. He is a high caliber player and someone with whom Long Islanders, youth soccer players and fans can identify with. He will be a big hit for the franchise.'

High School: Was named the State and Region Player of the Year as a senior at Central Islip High School ... Also named a Parade Magazine All-American.
