Local Businessman Becomes Part of Stampede Ownership Group

February 2, 2012 - American Indoor Football (AIF)
Harrisburg Stampede News Release

The Harrisburg Stampede is quickly approaching the start of their 4th season and with today's announcement has strengthened their organization by adding a familiar face and local businessman Justin Coble to its ownership group. Justin has been an assistant coach with the Stampede for the last 2 seasons and is also a local businessman being the proprietor of Casey's Closet in Mechanicsburg Pa.

As the Stampede enter their upcoming season fans will still see the same family fun atmosphere at a continued low cost but in 2012 they will now also enjoy free parking at each Stampede home game .

An emphasis will now be placed on local community support with an increased business involvement with programs to increase the Stampede fan base.

John Morris an owner with the Stampede since its inception is excited to have Justin on board as both an owner and general manager, Justin brings a strong business background and a wealth of knowledge to the team and I look forward to working with him and taking the Stampede to another level. With Justin taking a major role in the Stampede ownership group this will allow John Morris time to concentrate more on his other business ventures including the AIF which has seen tremendous growth in the last year. Some of the many things Justin will be working on will be implementing new marketing strategies and community promotions along with ticket drives. With the addition of Justin several changes had to be made in the team's corporate structure, the first major change will be with current General Manager and Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski, Bernie will make a lateral move within the organization and is being named the team's first Director of Football Operations and will continue as the team's Head Coach. Coble will take over the day to day operations of the team and assume the general managers responsibilities.

Justin is happy that the opportunity arose to be part of the Stampede team and he looks forward to an exciting season of play in the AIF.

Just a Reminder: Stampede's Last Open-Try Out is Friday February 3, 2012 at In The Net, Registration starts at 9pm and Work-Out is from 10pm - 12:30am
