Loa Milfors (Cedar Rapids), Ty Hanson (Sioux City) and Shikhabutdin Gadzhiev (Muskegon) have earned United States Hockey League (USHL) Player of the Week honors for Week 29, the league announced Monday.
Forward of the Week
Loa Milfors | Cedar Rapids | Stockholm, Sweden
Birth Year: 2004
2 GP, 2 goals, 3 assists, 5 points, 8 shots on goal, +4 plus-minus rating
Tied for the USHL lead with five points and three goals in helping Cedar Rapids to two wins last week
Scored twice (including the game-winning goal), had two assists and was +4 in a 7-4 home win over Des Moines last Friday
Had a goal and four shots on goal in a 5-2 road win to close out the regular season at Dubuque Saturday
Ended the year with a three-game point-scoring streak (4-2- 6) and 8-6- 14 in 28 games played

Had a goal and an assist in Dubuque's 4-2 win over Chicago last Saturday
Including a shorthanded goal, scored twice and assisted on the game-winning goal in a 7-2 home win over Lincoln last Saturday
Finished the 2023-24 regular season as Sioux City's top-scoring defenseman with 10-17-47 in 59 games played (ranked second in scoring amongst all defensemen in the USHL)

Had 14 saves in a 4-1 win over the Steel Saturday
Went 7-2-0-0 with a 2.47 goals against average and a .916 save percentage in his last seven appearances of the regular season
Now a three-time USHL Goaltender of the Week over the course of the 2023-24 season
