Lloyd Returns to the Bandits for 2006
March 23, 2006 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF) News Release
Sioux City will welcome back one of their core defensive threats from their 2005 season in Adam Lloyd. Lloyd was third on the Bandits squad in tackles after recording 51.5 total on the season in only 10 games! Go to http://66.118.191.45/~playmake/ADAMLLOYD-BANDITS.mp3 to listen to more on Adam Lloyd.
The Bandits took home the 2005 North Division Title with a 13-2 regular season record last year. Sioux City will be out for blood in 2006 after a devastating loss in the UIF Championship game to the Storm.
2005 UIF MVP Fred Jackson has parted ways from the team after being signed by the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. However, the Bandits will bring back a strong offensive and defensive core from last seasons winning team.
Taking the reigns and running the team will once again be Head Coach Jose Jefferson. So expect the Bandits to be among the top of the UIF once again in the 2006 season.
This will mark the second season that the Bandits will take the grid-iron in the new Tyson's Event Center.
