Lions Host Local Tryouts Wednesday

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club will host a camp for approximately 20 locally-invited players at the team's Surrey practice facility on Wednesday, April 21st. On field activities will begin at 10:30 am with players will taking part in physical testing including 40-yard timing and one-on-one drills.

BC Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono will be available to the media on-field following the camp at approximately 12:00 pm.

What: Lions Tryout Camp

Date & Time: Wednesday, April 21st - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Location: BC Lions Practice Facility (10605 - City Parkway, Surrey)

BC Lions Training Camp begins in Kamloops, BC on Sunday, June 6th. The BC Lions kick off the 2010 campaign with a pre-season tilt versus the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday, June 20th. Click here for the complete Lions 2010 schedule.
