Linda McMahon to Speak at Bluefish Leadoff Luncheon April 14th

(Bridgeport, Conn.) - The Bridgeport Bluefish will host a Leadoff Luncheon on Thursday, April 14th, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Housatonic Community College. The event will feature keynote speaker Linda McMahon, co-founder and former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc, based in Stamford, Connecticut. She has been widely recognized as one of the country's top female executives. McMahon has recently revealed her newest business venture, Women's Leadership LIVE (WLL), of which she is Co-Founder and CEO. The Leadoff Luncheon will also support local nonprofit organization, Hall Neighborhood House, and celebrate the start of the 2016 baseball season, which begins Thursday, April 21st on the road in Texas against the Sugar Land Skeeters.

"The Leadoff Luncheon will provide our business community with their first opportunity to meet the 2016 Bridgeport Bluefish players," said Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole. "The event will benefit a great community charity in the Hall Neighborhood House, and having a sports and entertainment business icon like Linda McMahon serve as our keynote speaker makes this a can't miss preseason event."

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the 2016 Bluefish at the Leadoff Luncheon, as all team members and coaches will be in attendance at the event and available to sign autographs and take photos with fans. There will also be special items raffled off at the event, including Bluefish experiences, suite nights, and autographed memorabilia.

Proceeds from the 2016 Leadoff Luncheon will benefit Hall Neighborhood House, a local organization which provides a host of social and educational programs that benefit the lives of children, youth, families and senior citizens.
