
Lights FC Falls in Home against RGV FC

MATCH SUMMARY:
Lights FC closed a two game homestand by taking on the RGV FC Toros at Cashman Field.
The game official Benjamin Meyer issued a direct red card to Lights FC defender Alex Lara in the 14th minute, leaving Las Vegas with a man down for more than 80% of the match.
The Toros took advantage of having more players on the field by going into the halftime break up 3-0 and adding two more goals in the second half for a 5-0 road victory.
This is the first time since October 16, 2021 that the Lights allowed more than 4 goals and just the second time during the 2022 season that Las Vegas conceded over 3 goals.

NEXT HOME MATCH:
Lights FC will host Monterey Bay on Saturday, September 10th with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
In celebration of First Responders throughout the Las Vegas Valley, Lights FC and Clark County Credit Unit have teamed up to host the annual "Police vs. Fire" soccer match as part of a special doubleheader, with the "Guns n' Hoses" match beginning immediately after Lights FC's game. One ticket gets fans access to both matches.
