March 13, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Las Vegas Lights FC News Release
Las Vegas (NV) - Las Vegas Lights FC fans will again be able to follow along every match of the upcoming 2019 United Soccer League season via national & local media outlets. Every Lights FC league match will be broadcast on television and radio.
Locally, Lights FC fans will be able to watch a minimum of 24 home & away matches live on MyLVTV which is part of the Sinclair Broadcasting family of networks (News 3 - NBC, CW Las Vegas, & Estrella TV). In addition, all home and away matches will be televised nationally via the United Soccer League's agreement with ESPN's family of networks -- ESPN+, ESPNews and ESPN3.com. ESPN+ is the newest streaming service of the worldwide leader in sports television with more than two million subscribers.
In conjunction with VSiN, the Vegas Stats and Information Network, selected road games on MyLVTV will be broadcast in the #BetCast format with odds provided by Las Vegas sports books. Lights FC Insider Harry Ruiz (@HarryRuiz ) will handle play-by-play duties, while long-time Las Vegas sports betting experts Vinny Magliulo and Matthew Holt will provide commentary. Magliulo (@VSINVinny ) has 38 years of experience in the betting industry including time at Wynn Las Vegas, Caesars Palace and Gaughan Gaming. Holt (@MatthewHoltVP ), who provided handicapping insights on Lights FC's inaugural #BetCast game in 2018, is the president of U.S. Integrity. The first #BetCast will take place on Saturday, March 16.
Jeff Radcliffe (@Jeff_Radcliffe ) will be the play-by-play voice of Lights FC on all home games. Radcliffe previously served as the voice of Orlando City FC from the team's inception in USL in 2011 to 2018.
Similar to last season, Lights FC has renewed its multi-faceted partnership with Lotus Broadcasting and ESPN Deportes 1460AM to air all Lights FC matches live throughout the season. Returning to the broadcast booth will be Alvaro Puentes & Alejandro Romo, both of whom return for their second season of calling Lights FC action on ESPN Deportes Radio 1460AM. The radio broadcast can also be streamed online at LVSportsNetwork.com
"Television, radio & streaming -- Lights FC has it's fans covered," said Lights FC Owner & CEO Brett Lashbrook. "We are committed to growing Lights FC bigger & bigger. Partnering with MyLVTV, VSiN, ESPN Radio & ESPN+ is a perfect example of our commitment to make Lights FC a premier soccer club."
Seventeen of Lights FC's first 18 matches of the 2019 USL Championship season will be broadcasted locally on MyLVTV, with the lone exception being the team's road game against LA Galaxy II on Monday, April 29.
*Note: The full list of MyLVTV's live broadcasts (minimum 24 broadcasts) for the second half of the season will be released at a later date.
