(LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning beat the Halifax Hurricanes 113-107.
London's record is now 18-9.
In his first game back, Stephen Maxwell recorded a double-double (22 points, 12 rebounds). Tyshawn Patterson finished with a game high 23 points, going 8-of-17 from the field.
Akeem Wright also played a starring role, scoring key baskets when the team needed it, adding 22 points and eight rebounds.
"I was proud of that game because we were shorthanded and we really executed our game plan for the most part, and that's special," said coach Kyle Julius. "That's a hard week, we spent a whole fighting from a loss, I'm happy for them."
London next heads to Windsor to take on the Express on Saturday at the WFCU Centre. The Lightning's next home game is Wed. Mar. 30. Tickets can be purchased at the Budweiser Gardens box office or online.
