(WINDSOR, Ontario) - Saturday night at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, the London Lightning beat the Windsor Express 113-110.
The Lightning have now won two in a row, pushing their record to 19-9.
Stephen Maxwell finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds for his league-leading 17th double-double. Akeem Wright also finished with a double-double, netting 21 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Warren Ward added 24 points of his own, seven rebounds and six assists.
The game was capped by a third quarter in which the Lightning outscored Windsor 33-18.
Akeem Scott made his Lightning debut, grabbing 12 points and making Windsor pay by driving inside, opening up the three pointer.
Coach Kyle Julius praised Scott's first appearance following the game.
"He was the first player that I really wanted to sign when I took the job because he's a phenomenal person and he's a better player. Past the stats, his energy and attack was incredible, but he does it at the right time."
London's next game is on Wed. Mar. 30 at Budweiser Gardens when they host the Orangeville A's.
