(HALIFAX, Nova Scotia) - Sunday afternoon at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, the London Lightning beat the Halifax Hurricanes 93-91 to force a Game 7 in the NBLC Finals.
Akeem Scott finished with a team high 24 points and nine assists.
Stephen Maxwell added 21 points and nine rebounds while Ryan Anderson contributed 14 points of his own.
The game came down to the wire as London had the final possession, and converted on a buzzer beating tip-in by Stephen Maxwell.
"That was one of the absolute best fights I've ever seen. We just fought. I was really proud of the guys. They did it for each other," said coach Kyle Julius. "I expect more of the same (tomorrow). I expect even better. If we come out with the same energy and intensity as today, we'll see good results"
The deciding Game 7 will be played Monday, June 13 at 6 p.m. EST.
