Lightning Fall to Titans

(LONDON, ON) The London Lightning lose their second game in a row, falling 129-123 to the KW Titans. After being down by 21 points in the second quarter, the Lightning battled back to get to make the game competitive. After getting the game tied at 112 a team nearing the end of the fourth quarter, the Titans pulled away in the end.

Leading the team offensively was Garrett Williamson. Williamson scored 25 points, while adding 11 assists and 6 rebounds. Marvin Phillips and Jelan Kendrick each added 20 points while coming off the bench to add some depth scoring. Jaylen Babb-Harrison finished with 16 points. AJ Gaines had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Head Coach Elliott Etherington is still aware of the growing pains for his team. "We can look at a real positive 20 minutes, but that's not enough." The work is not done either . "The guys want to work." Said Etherington.

The Lightning will play one last game in 2018 and that will take place on Friday December 28, 2018 in Windsor as they take on the Express. The Lightning's next home game will come in the new year on Thursday, January 3, 2019 where they will take on the Moncton Magic.
