(Halifax, NS) - The London Lightning Dropped game 1 to the Halifax Hurricanes on Sunday afternoon. The home team fed off of the energy of the crowd and rode their big 3 of Mason, Watson and White the whole game. They combined for 83 points and put their team in position to win the game. 119-106 was the final. The Lightning trail the best of 7 series 1-0 with another chance to steal home court on Tuesday night.
Doug Herring Jr. led the way with 26 points and 9 assists, Julian Boyd had a Double-Double with 17 points and 13 Rebounds, Ryan Anderson also added 17 points, Garrett Williamson and Kirk Williams Jr both finished with 14.
The next London Lightning game is Tuesday, May 8th at 6 P.M. (EST) against the Halifax Hurricanes for game 2 of a best of 7 series.
