(LONDON, Ontario) - Thursday night, in front of 3.652 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Mississauga Power, 101-98.
The Lightning now stand at 9-5.
The Lightning's top scorer was Marvin Phillips with 31 points and 14 rebounds: "It's hard to beat the same team three times in a row, but we played hard as a team and pulled off another win. We are looking forward and getting ready to play Brampton on Saturday."
Zane Johnson added 22 points and six rebounds, while Emmanuel Little scored a double-double with 18 points and 17 rebounds.
"We need to work on our intensity during the first half. It was an ugly win, but we did what we needed to do and that was getting a win at home," said Little. "We'll be back in the gym Friday morning, preparing for a win on Saturday against Brampton."
The Lightning play their next game on Saturday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Brampton. The next home game will be the following Saturday, December 27 at 7:00 p.m. The upper bowl will be open as a part of National Bank Kids Day.
