London Lightning News Release
(LONDON, Ontario) - Tonight, in front 5,296 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Saint John Mill Rats by a score of 102-92.
Elvin Mims put forth a fantastic effort, notching a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
"It is very important to finish the season on a positive note. I think that little rough patch we had where we lost five or six games was almost a blessing in disguise. When you win a lot, you start to think it's going to keep coming easy. The way we've bounced back is just a testament to the kind of guys we have in this locker room." Said Elvin Mims
Jermaine Johnson had a great game of his own with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Garrett Williamson also made a strong contribution with 20 points.
The Lightning's next home game is Saturday, February 22, at 7pm where the Lightning will play host to the Island Storm at Budweiser Gardens.
