STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Lightning of the arenafootball2 league announced rookie OL/DL Mike Eddy has been assigned by the af2 league office.
The Lightning also announced the following roster transactions:
ÂÅ Nashville Dyer (DB) placed on re-assignment
ÂÅ Tai Tupai (OL/DL) placed on re-assignment
Eddy makes Stockton his second af2 team this season after beginning the year with the Boise Burn, spending time on the roster but garnering no official game experience. The 6-foot-6 lineman split his college football career between the University of Utah (NCAA) and University of Texas-El Paso (NCAA).
The Lightning return to play the final road game of the regular season this Saturday - a Week 15 matchup against the Central Valley Coyotes, beginning at 7:00 from Selland Arena on Saturday, July 5. The game be heard on radio (potentially joined in progress) at 1420-AM KSTN and viewed online, free-of-charge, through www.stocktonlightning.com (courtesy of NifTy Online TV).
