
Lightning Advance to Central Division Finals

(Niagara, ON) - The London Lightning have defeated the Niagara River Lions 3 games to 1 and have advanced to the Central Division Finals to face the St. John's Edge. It was a hard-fought game with neither team giving an inch but it was tough rebounding by the Lighting that made the difference. 106-99 was the final.
Royce White led the way with 24 points and 15 Rebounds, Julian Boyd and Ryan Anderson scored 16 points each, Kyle Johnson added 15 points, and Garrett Williamson and Doug Herring Jr each chipped in 12. Mo Bolden was Huge on the Boards with 19 rebounds.
London Lighting will play the St. Johns Edge in a 7-game series with the Lightning hosting the first 2 games at home in London followed by 3 games in St. John's Newfoundland and 2 back in London. Dates for the second round will be announced shortly.
