Lewis to handle Osceola play-by-play

[KISSIMMEE, Fla.] - The Osceola GhostRiders have signed Orlando Magic sideline reporter Chris Lewis as their play-by-play man for the 2007 World Indoor Football League football season.

Lewis brings six years of radio industry experience to the GhostRiders, including his current stint with the Magic's Radio Network and host of 740 The Team's Massey Cadillac Magic Insider weekly call-in show.

During outdoor football season, Lewis calls high school grid iron action for the Hardee Wildcats, a perennial powerhouse in Florida prep football.

Prior to his arrival in Orlando, Lewis called three seasons of University of Colorado Buffaloes football and basketball on KVCU radio in Boulder.

A native of Wayzata, Minnesota, Chris graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Broadcast News in 2004.

"Major props to the Ghostriders for both elevating their communications effort and that of the league by bringing Chris on board. He's a strong presence on the Magic broadcast," states WIFL Director of Communications, Dan Ryan.
