July 13, 2009 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Halifax Rainmen News Release

(Halifax, N.S.) Rainmen Team Owner, Andre Levingston and Coach Les Berry set-off for California and New York this weekend to scout and recruit players for the upcoming season. The first stop is the Pro Am Summer League in San Francisco from the 12th until the 16th of July, then New York from the 16th until the 19th.

"Coach and I are looking for well rounded players who can help us achieve our goal of winning a championship. But more specifically, we need a point guard, a post player who can give us a better position in the paint," said Levingston.

The Rainmen are also getting geared-up for their first summer camp of the season and 3-on-3 tournaments. "We are really excited about the 3-on-3 in Halifax on Natal Day weekend. I am very curious to see what kind of talent is out there," added Levingston.

There are still spots available for all skills camps, Tallahassee Community Centre, Citadel Community Centre and Truro at the Community College Campus.
