
Legends Return Home for Final Games

Frisco, TX, (March 31, 2013) -The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), finished their final road trip of the season with a loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 85-109. The Legends will return home next weekend to host the Springfield Armor in their last homestand April 5th and 6th.
The Legends played hard for four quarter but were unable to catch an offensive spark shooting only 38.8% on the evening. Fort Wayne put together a well-rounded game out-rebounding the Legends 52-38 and leading in assists 29-17. While no players were able to break the 20-point mark, all active players on each roster were able to score. The Mad Ants were shooting for a playoff berth, going 10-24 from beyond the arc and shooting 55.1% total.
The Legends had four players in double digits. Fred House and Solomon Bozeman came off the bench to add 16 a piece while Sean Singletary posted 15 and Melvin Ely tallied 14. Dwayne Jones led the game in rebounds grabbing 10 boards on the night.
Anthony Richardson and Chris Porter were the game's leading scorers with 17 points apiece. Tony Mitchell and Brandon Wallace added 16 and 15 respectively for Fort Wayne.
The Legends' final homestand against Springfield will also present two unique jersey nights. Friday, April 5th at 7pm will be Autism Awareness Night while Saturday, April 6th at 7pm Quest presents Green Night at Veracruz Court. For tickets or information call 214-469-0822.
