(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) Rain caused suspension of the Lexington Legends-West Virginia Power game Thursday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Two innings had been completed when play was stopped with the Legends leading 2-1. The game will be resumed at 5:05 p.m. Friday, and will be completed as a nine-inning game. Then after a 30-minute break, there will be a seven-inning game. Gates will open at 4 p.m. Friday.

West Virginia scored a run in the top of the first inning. Harold Ramirez reached first base on an error by Lexington third baseman Mauricio Ramos, moved to second on an infield out and scored when a ground ball by Jacoby Jones bounced off the third base bag for a double.

The Legends came back to take the lead in the bottom of the second on a two-out single by Michael Antonio and a home run by Fred Ford.
