Legends Draft Two, Finalize Training Camp Roster

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends selected two players in the first round of the 2022 NBA G League Draft and finalized their training camp roster.
With the 9th overall pick, Texas selected Taze Moore. Moore (6-5, 195, Houston) joined the Brooklyn Nets for the 2022 NBA Summer League, seeing action in four games. The rookie from Southaven, MS played four seasons at Cal State Bakersfield prior to transferring to Houston and earned All-Conference honors his final three seasons.
With the 10th overall pick, the Legends selected Amauri Hardy. Hardy (6-1, 200, G League Ignite) joined the Cleveland Cavaliers for 2022 NBA Summer League averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across three games. Hardy played three years at UNLV before finishing at Oregon. Last season with Ignite, the Michigan native averaged 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 18 games.
After the draft, Texas acquired Tra-Deon Hollins from the available player pool. Hollins (6-2, 195, Omaha) was a two-year starter at the University of Omaha, earning All-First Team and Defensive Player of the Year in both seasons. A G League veteran, Hollins has played 134 games in the past five seasons, most recently with the Salt Lake City Stars last season.
The Legends roster now stands at 15 competing for 12 spots. The roster includes four returning players, three affiliates, three out of local player tryouts, two NBA two-way players, two draft picks, and one from the available player pool. The full roster is below.

Training camp begins Monday, October 24th and the Legends' season opens up on the road in Austin for a double-header November 4th and 5th.
