Dayton Demonz News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Demonz Professional Hockey Club have announced that, effective immediately, Head Coach Marc LeFebvre will be leaving the Demonz to accept another coaching position in an advanced overseas hockey league. Details of the transaction are not yet available, pending the announcement of the transition to his new team.

"It is with mixed emotions that I step down as Head Coach of the Dayton Demonz today. The city and fans have been nothing but tremendous since I was named coach last summer. I would like to thank owner Barry Soskin for the opportunity to be the first ever coach in Demonz history and wish the organization nothing but the best in the future," states LeFebvre.

LeFebvre served as Head Coach for the Demonz inaugural season, establishing several notable marks. Under his watch the team finished with a 36-6-3-6 record, scored a league-leading 123 points, and helped several players to see ice time at higher levels of play in advanced hockey leagues.

Demonz owner, Barry Soskin, added "Marc has done a great job for the Demonz and leaves a tough pair of shoes to fill. We wish him the best and continued success in his new position." A new head coach for the Demonz has not yet been named.
