League MVP "Double A" Back to the Mill Rats

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are thrilled to announce the return of the 2014 NBL Canada League MVP, Anthony Anderson aka "Double A", to the team for the 2014-15 season.
Anderson is the reigning all-time leading scorer in NBL Canada history with 2,121 points.
Last season at 32 years old, the 5'11 guard was simply sensational, averaging 24.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while leading the Mill Rats to their first Atlantic Division title.
"I'm excited to be back with Ty, Crook, Kenny and the new guys to push for an NBL Canada championship this season. We have a great opportunity and I want to take advantage of it," said Anderson.
"Fans recognize Anthony as franchise player since we have been in existence, and appreciate the level of skill and smarts he brings to the game," explained Mill Rats President & General Manager Ian McCarthy. "People who haven't seen him play should realize what a privilege it is to watch a player perform at his level in the prime years of his career, before he's gone."
Anderson has a long list of professional accolades since turning pro in 2007, despite skipping his first two seasons after college for secular reasons.
