League Announces Pinty's as Official Partner for NLL on TSN
January 2, 2015 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
The National Lacrosse League today announced Pinty's as an official partner for the NLL on TSN during the 2015 season. As part of the agreement, an NLL player will receive the "Pinty's Wingman of the Year" award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities. The yearly award winner will be selected from the pool of finalists receiving the "Pinty's Wingman of the Week" award throughout the season.
"We're pleased to add Pinty's as a partner for the 2015 National Lacrosse League season on TSN," said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.
"We are extremely excited to showcase the stars of the NLL this coming season," said Anthony Spiteri, Vice-President of Marketing, Pinty's. "The creation of the 'Wingman' awards will highlight the league's biggest stars and recognize their amazing achievements throughout the 2015 NLL campaign."
Last month, TSN announced a new multi-platform broadcast agreement with the NLL for the 2015 season that allows viewers in Canada to watch the league's entire 81-game regular season plus the Champion's Cup playoffs and Final. TSN will broadcast 12 regular season games and select post-season games (see broadcast schedule below). The remaining 69 regular season games will be available exclusively to TSN subscribers through TSN GO.
