Latinos Unidos to host this Saturday's Explosion game

MONROE, Wash. - April 20, 2008 - Get ready for some Latin culture on the court this Saturday, April 26 at Snohomish County Explosion's Latinos Unidos Night!

The Explosion organization has partnered with Latinos Unidos (Latinos United) for an extravaganza of singing, dancing and half-time entertainment at their upcoming home game against the Portland Chinooks.

"We are very excited to have the Latin community come out and support the team," said Brad Sturlaugson, General Manager of the Snohomish County Explosion. "Latinos United is a great organization and we are proud to have the opportunity to partner with them for this game."

Alberto Robles, Owner of La Talpita Mexican Store on Main Street in Monroe, has been an integral part of Latinos Unidos Night. He has worked long hours to make this Saturday's celebration a success.

"It is very exciting," said Robles. "We have many things planned for the fans and we hope that they have a good time."

Robles will be decorating the gym in a Latin theme and as an added bonus, the National Anthem of Mexico will be performed.
