(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats Foundation "Hoops 4 Kids" fundraising event is happening on Friday, April 12th at 7pm at the Water Street Dinner Theatre! Today is the last day for guests to RSVP.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 1.506.860.0706 or emailing astansfield@millratsbasketball.ca. Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased by cheque or cash (cheques made payable to Saint John Mill Rats Foundation). They also can be ordered online at www.hoops4kids.eventbrite.com MLF06Heyt].
Doors open at 7pm with a silent auction and a photo booth. We even have a "Cooking with Kenny and a Mill Rat's Player" Thandi gift certificate ($500 value) that will go to one lucky guest (and maybe some friends - for 6 people total). More details on silent auction below.
The event will be emceed by Will Njoku, a former teammate of Steve Nash's and the three course meal will be your choice - lobster or prime rib. Thanks to Constellation Inc, all tickets also include 2 glasses of wine. Casual dress is recommended.
