
LaShomb named NLL Athletic Trainer of the Year

Buffalo, N.Y. (May 8, 2006) --- The National Lacrosse League announced today that Dr. Sherri LaShomb of the Buffalo Bandits has been named Athletic Trainer of the Year for the 2006 season.
"Sherri is a very dedicated and capable athletic trainer," said Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations David Zygaj. "We're glad to see her recognized with this award for her hard work."
Dr. LaShomb was the Bandits athletic trainer from 1994-96 and returned to the team prior to last season. She is in charge of the coordination of healthcare for every player, including chiropractic care and all their athletic training needs.
The voting for all executive and operations awards were submitted by Governors and General Managers of the league's 11 member clubs after the conclusion of the regular season and prior the start of the Champion's Cup Playoffs.
