
Las Vegas Outlaws, La Bonita and Univision Las Vegas Announce "Open Kicker Tryouts"

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Outlaws, La Bonita Supermarkets and Univision Las Vegas today announced that the new Arena Football team in town is looking for a kicker, and that open tryouts to find this new Outlaws player will be held at the Summerlin Soccer Complex Saturday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT.
The tryouts are FREE and OPEN to the public on a first come, first served basis. The person that the Outlaws selects as the winner will be awarded a spot on the team roster, along with other prizes provided by La Bonita and Univision Las Vegas.
"Las Vegas is the home of the Outlaws, so we are looking no further than here to find our next star player, a kicker who will help us get to the AFL playoffs this year," said Aaron Garcia, Outlaws Head Coach. "We're calling out all the top athletes in the soccer leagues, the best of the best in the rugby scene and the locals who think they can make it as a pro Arena Football player. On March 21st, bring it to the Summerlin Soccer Complex and see if you've got what it takes."
Applications for the Outlaws Kicker Tryouts are available inside La Bonita Supermarkets, and on site day of the event. The Summerlin Soccer Complex is located at 1400 N. Rampart Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89128 - at the corner of Vegas Drive and Rampart.
The Outlaws season opener vs. the San Jose SaberCats is Monday, March 30 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. PT; Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Tickets are $18 Balcony; $22 Upper End Zone; $31 Lower End Zone; $43 Corner; $58 Sideline; $73 Lower Sideline; $98 Hideout Seats and $198 Front Row (additional fees may apply).
In September 2014, it was announced that the Outlaws would bring Arena Football back to Las Vegas. Since then, the team has been building its roster, securing national television deals and pursuing local business sponsors including Dollar Loan Center. The team is actively seeking additional sponsors as a result of sports giant ESPN and CBS Sports signing on for television and online broadcasts.
The Outlaws belong to the AFL National Conference West Division. Aaron Garcia, decorated AFL quarterback with 19 years of experience on the field, is the Outlaws head coach. Quarterbacks J.J. Ratterink and Sean Brackett along with all-star AFL wide receiver Tysson Poots, are among the many star players currently on the roster.
