March 29, 2024 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Las Vegas Lights FC News Release
Las Vegas, NV - Las Vegas Lights FC today announced that midfielder Giovanni Aguilar successfully underwent right knee surgery on Thursday to repair his ACL and meniscus. The midfielder will now begin rest and recovery and will be out approximately six to eight months.
The injury, suffered during training ahead of the home opener (March 16), forced Aguilar to miss the team's most recent USL Championship matches at Cashman Field as he received additional evaluation pre-surgery. Aguilar appeared in the Opening Match roster on the road (March 9), earning the start.
The Lights are scheduled to travel to face Oakland Roots SC tomorrow, Saturday, March 30 (7 p.m. PT / National: ESPN+, Local: SSSEN). Lights FC returns home next weekend and season tickets and single-match ticket options can be purchased at lasvegaslightsfc.com.
