
Large Turnout Expected for Columbus Cyclones Free-Agent Tryout

Columbus, Ohio-- The Columbus Cyclones, a professional basketball organization of the International Basketball League, will welcome a large contingent of prospects to the organizations first free-agent tryout that will take place on Sunday January 15th at Dublin Coffman High School.
The tryout on Sunday will include two group instruction sessions and will conclude with three separate game-like scrimmage sessions that will be coordinated with the IBL Referee Camp that will be taking place in conjunction with the tryout.
The Cyclones begin the season on March 31st on the road against the Youngstown Wildcats and open the home season on April 8 when they host Akron at Westerville North High School.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the camp running from 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. Cyclone Head Coach Dave Cecutti, his staff and other professional and college coaches from the region, will conduct the camp. "The tryout sessions will give our basketball staff the opportunity to evaluate several players who we are aware of but also take a look at some other individuals who will be attempting to secure a roster spot on the team", Cecutti stated.
Players interested in participating should contact the Cyclones office in order to get all the appropriate registration materials. The Non-refundable fee of $75.00 may be paid by cashiers check or money order, and it MUST BE POSTMARKED by January 12, 2006. Please mail completed forms and the fee to the following location:
