Laredo Rattlesnakes Try-out Postponed

LAREDO, TEXAS - Due to inclement weather in the Greater Laredo Area the open tryouts originally scheduled for Feb 12th have been rescheduled to Feb 26th.
The Laredo Rattlesnakes a member of the Lonestar Football League (LSFL) announces it's first and only open try-out for the upcoming 2012 season. The try-out will he held on Sunday February 26, 2012 at 603 Amistad Dr. Laredo, Tx 78041 . The soccer field is located directly behind ABC Hobbies (5711 Mc Pherson, Laredo, TX 78041). Registration will begin at 8am with the try-out running from 9:15am-1pm.
Head Coach Rod Miller, along with the Rattlesnake coaching staff, will be evaluating players in a pro combine-style try-out. Participants will be evaluated in the 40 yard dash, short-shuttle, L-drill, and the standing broad jump. After the physical testing, participants will then be evaluated in position specific drills, 1-on-1, and 4-on-4 group work.
Registration fees are $50 for pre-registration and $60 the day of the try-out. To pre-register for the try-out go to www.laredorattlesnakes.com , click on the try-out tab, and follow the on-line instructions. Please note that on the day of the try-out the $60 registration fee is CASH ONLY. No checks or credit cards will be accepted!! Pre-registration (which is strongly encouraged) will end on Friday February 24, 2012 at 5pm.
Lastly, all participants will be required to fill-out and sign a try-out waiver form to participate in the try-out. The try-out will be conducted on an outdoor grass soccer field, so football cleats are strongly recommended but not required. You are also encouraged to bring a bottle of water or a sports drink as it will not be supplied at the try-out.
