LAREDO "" The 2014 Laredo Lemurs open their much anticipated season tomorrow night for a 7-game homestand at Uni-Trade Stadium when they take on the Fargo-Morehead Redhawks. Game starts at 7:30pm and the gates open up at 6:30pm. Opening Night is sponsored by Uni-Trade Forwarding. Thursday will once again feature "Thirsty Thursday" with $1.00 beer sponsored by Miller Lite. Also, the 1st 1,000 people will receive a Lemurs Magnet Schedule.
Here are the highlights for the rest of the homestand:
Friday May 16th Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
Come see the Lemurs take on the Redhawks for game two of a four-game set and see a spectacular post-game Fireworks Show brought to you by Ashley Furniture. It's also PONY League night where all Laredo PONY League players will parade on the field prior to the game. It's also the 3rd Annual Autism Awareness at Uni-Trade Stadium. Also, the 1st 1,000 people will receive a Lemurs Magnet Schedule. Last but not least, the girls from Camelia's Dance Team will perform on the field after the game just prior to the Fireworks Show.
Saturday, May 17th Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
Come celebrate Armed Forces Day and Military Appreciation with the Lemurs for game three with the Redhawks. The 1st 1,000 people thru the gates will receive FREE Lemurs Rally Rags courtesy of Uni-Trade Forwarding.
Sunday, May 18th Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
The Lemurs finish out the four-game set with Fargo on Sunday with Family Day and Bark in the Park. Family Chevrolet Family Day with the Lemurs allows fans to purchase 4 Tickets, 4 Hot Dogs, 4 Bags of Chips and 4 Drinks for $44. The ever-popular Bark in Park allows Lemurs fans to bring their dog to the game. Special contests like best dressed dog, best trained and doggie-owner look-a-like contest highlight the night. LAPS will be on hand for fans looking to adopt their own dog. It's also Driscoll Health Plan night where members receive $2.00 off their ticket by showing their Driscoll Health Plan card.
Monday, May 19th Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
Tonight is the first game of a 3-game homestand against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. It's Margarita Monday with $2.00 Margaritas all night long. It's also Laredo Merchants Night with area businesses participating in the night.
Tuesday, May 20th Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
Tuesday is Thirsty Tuesday with $1.00 Miller Lites all night long. It's also HEB Two for Tuesday with 2 for 1 HEB hot dogs all night. Tonight is the first game of a 3-game homestand against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. It's Margarita Monday with $2.00 Margaritas all night long. It's also Laredo Merchants Night #2 with area businesses participating in the night.
Wednesday, May 21st Lemurs vs. Fargo Redhawks 7:30pm
It's Education Day with the only day game of the year and a special 10:00am start time. It's also Play Hooky from Work Day.
