Alpena MI: The Alpena IceDiggers of the North American Hockey League announced that former player Chris Lanciano will broadcast home games for the club on the B2 network.
Lanciano played for the IceDiggers during their first season in Alpena. The Philadelphia native has lived in Alpena ever since his playing career ended.
"Chris was an important part of our team both on and off the ice our first year up here, and with him now as our broadcaster I couldn't be happier." said head coach Kenny Miller
This will be 21 year olds first season as a broadcaster and during home games players that are out of the lineup will fill in as color commentators for all the broadcasts.
All 25 home games can be viewed on the Internet at www.icediggers.com for a fee of $6.00 per game.
Lanciano resides in Ossineke MI with his girlfriend Jillian (20).
