Lancers Surpass Record Group Ticket Sales For Opener

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers today announced they have surpassed the franchise's group ticket sales record. As of today, the team has sold over 3,000 group tickets for Saturday's home opener. Additionally, the Blue Cross Arena's lower bowl is nearly sold out for the game.
"The last time we had group numbers like this, our total game attendance reached over 10,000 people," said Kayla "ËClark' Kent, Director of Ticket Sales. "The buzz is greater than ever for the Lancers season and we are excited for an amazing crowd on Saturday."
NEW PLAYER SIGNING
The Lancers announced today the addition of 22 year old Brad Vanino, who will be eligible for Saturday's home opener. The 6' 1" midfielder is expected to play as a second forward for the team. The St Bonaventure standout finished his college career in the school's top ten all-time in goals, points, and assists. He's a PDL champion and two-time league Team of the Week member with the Michigan Bucks. His first pro indoor contract was with the Pennsylvania Roar of the MISL in 2014.
The Lancers approach Saturday's home opener with a 1-0 record for the first time in franchise history. Saturday will mark Doug Miller's first time as a pro indoor head coach in Rochester. To date, Miller is still Rochester's all-time leading goal scorer.
