LANCASTER, Calif. - The Lake Elsinore Storm scored eight runs in the top of the first inning and cruised to a 17-11 win over the JetHawks in the series finale on Sunday night at The Hangar.
The Storm (35-39) took the final three games of the series after the JetHawks (35-38) won the opener in extra innings. The first nine batters of the game reached for Lake Elsinore and Lancaster starter Kevin McCanna recorded just one out before he was knocked out by the Storm.
Lake Elsinore's other big inning came in the eighth, when they scored seven times. They added two in the third and did not score in the remaining six innings.
