
LAFC Defeats Vissel Kobe 4-1 in Preseason Friendly

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) earned a 4-1 preseason victory over Japanese side Vissel Kobe at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday evening. Tonight's match was LAFC's second international friendly, having hosted Germany's Borussia Dortmund last May.
LAFC forward Carlos Vela scored the first two goals for the Black & Gold in the first half. Defender Dejan Jakovic would add a third in the 72nd minute before the visitors would get on the scoresheet nine minutes later. Rookie Kevin Mendoza tallied the Club's fourth goal four minutes from time to seal the victory for LAFC.
LAFC returns to action next Monday, February 4 when the Club takes on Columbus Crew SC in their third preseason match. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT at Banc of California Stadium. The match is closed to the public but will remain open to media. Media interested in covering should must email lafcpr@lafc.com.
