April 3, 2006 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Palm Beach Phantoms News Release
Marylin Richardson-Pryor, the director of the Lady Phantoms, was offered the opportunity to assist in the selection of the 2006-2007 Miami Dolphins cheerleading squad. The auditions begin this Saturday, April 8, and Richardson-Pryor will have the opportunity to observe the recruiting process from the judge's side of the table.
Marilyn Richardson-Pryor brings considerable experience to the Lady Phantoms, and to the Dolphins cheerleaders auditions. Her career in dance includes several years as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers dance team, and performances with Impresario Productions, Inc. Dance Team in Cleveland. She has also directed cheerleading squads at St. Lucie County's local public schools, and continues to work as an educator while pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership at Nova Southeastern University. The Lady Phantoms offered her an opportunity to return to dance while using her experience to mold dancers befitting a professional football team.
Richardson-Pryor is looking forward to adding ten to fifteen more talented young ladies to the Lady Phantoms, and to providing a polished, professional team to represent the Phantoms at local community events. She is looking for "beautiful, intelligent, enthusiastic young ladies with dance and cheerleading experience." The dancers must be prepared to be featured in calendars, well spoken and poised in order to attend special appearances on behalf of the team, and willing to serve the community through participation in community service activities.
Opportunities to dance with the Lady Phantoms are still available. You can contact the Lady Phantoms at lady_phantomsdance@yahoo.com. Email the Lady Phantoms your name, contact information, dance resume, and a photo. Additionally, make sure you attend the Phantoms' historic first home game against Osceola Football at the Delray Beach Sports and Tennis Center on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
