Lady Eagles Host Railhawks Tonight

(Charlotte, NC) - The Charlotte Lady Eagles return to home field action tonight, Friday, June 27th hosting the Carolina Railhawks. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 pm at Restart Field on the campus of Charlotte Christian School.
Tonight's match is the first meeting of the two teams this season. The Lady Eagles have had a very strong start to the season with a 8-1-1 record for 25 points, just two points behind Atlantic Division leader Atlanta. The Railhawks have also done well this season, particularly considering it is the teams inaugural season in the W-League. Carolina currently sits at 4-3-1 for 13 points. The second match of the series between Charlotte and Carolina will be played on Thursday of next week at the Railhawks home field, WakeMed Soccer Park.
