Lady Cats Selected For Inaugural Season

Austin, TX -The Austin Turfcats announced today they have selected the members for its inaugural season cheerleading squad. The squad was selected during their final selection process at the Austin Cheer Factory and the team had many highly respected candidates to be on the inaugural squad.
Cheer Director Michelle Guidry said, "I am so excited to be a part of this inaugural squad and I am ready to lead the Lady Cats on the field and in our community."
The Turfcats cheerleading (dance) squad is made up of talented women who represent Austin at every home game at the Travis County Expo Center. The Lady Cats dance team will help to raise the spirits on the turf and in the crowd. The squad will feature Michelle Guidry, Alisha Collins, Emilie Merck, Kristen Supak, Lisa Colwell, Laura Loucks, Ashton Bryant, Rhonda Robinson, Katie Stubbs and Hollie Holloway for the Lady Cats this year.
The Lady Cats will act as goodwill ambassadors around central Texas. Besides appearing at numerous non-profit functions throughout the year, the Lady Cats will run their own charitable foundation known as the Lady Cats Community Program. They will also conduct an annual Junior Lady Cats program which allows girls under 18 to build self-esteem, learn dance moves and perform on-field with the Lady Cats prior to a home game.
