LA Kiss Announces New Official Partnership
May 19, 2016 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Los Angeles KISS News Release
Los Angeles, CA - The LA KISS announced today an official partnership with Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire. The partnership includes a holding a Make-A-Wish Day on June 5th. A portion of the ticket sales from that day's game will also be donated to Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire along with honoring a local community member (or organization?) who has been instrumental in granting kid's wishes.
"We are honored to partner with such an exceptional organization like Make-A-Wish, that impacts so many families and children in our community," said LA KISS CEO, Joe Windham. "We hope everyone can join us on June 5th for not only a great LA KISS game but also to support our local chapter of Make-A-Wish."
On June 5th, all Make-A-Wish children and their families will be invited to attend the game where there will be activities prior and during the game along with a half-time BMX team performing stunts for the whole family to enjoy. We will also be selecting a Make-A-Wish child to deliver the game ball and have the honor of doing the coin toss before the game.
"Make-A-Wish is grateful for the support of LA KISS and their dedication to helping us grant more wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions," said Stephanie McCormick, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire. "This game will be a great opportunity for the team and fans to learn more about Make-A-Wish and give our children a once in a lifetime experience."
