VANCOUVER, B.C. - Following a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Union at Dignity Health Sports Park on July 8, the LA Galaxy square off against Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a road match at BC Place tonight, Saturday, July 15 (7:30 p.m. PT; Free on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
LA enter tonight's match riding a seven-match unbeaten run in league play (3-0-4; 13 GF, 9 GA) dating back to May 31. Saturday's match marks the 33rd meeting across all competitions between the Galaxy and Whitecaps FC, with LA leading the all-time series 15-10-7. Against Vancouver, the Galaxy hold a 14-10-7 record in league play and a 1-0-0 record in the MLS Cup Playoffs. In the first meeting between the two teams this season, LA and Vancouver played to a 1-1 draw in the 2023 Home Opener at Dignity Health Sports Park on March 18. In 14 all-time regular-season matches played on the road against Vancouver, LA holds a 4-6-4 record. The last time the Galaxy defeated Whitecaps FC at BC Place, LA earned a 2-0 win on April 5, 2019.
During the seven-match unbeaten run in league play dating back to May 31, Douglas Costa is tied for an MLS-high six assists with Real Salt Lake's Pablo Ruiz, while Riqui Puig has tallied two goals and five assists and Tyler Boyd has notched three goals and one assist during that stretch. In four regular-season road matches played dating back May 31, the Galaxy hold an unbeaten record of 1-0-3 record (6 GF, 5 GA).
