
LA Galaxy II Sign Midfielder Adrian Gonzalez

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy II announced today that the club has signed midfielder and LA Galaxy Academy product Adrian Gonzalez. The 17-year-old made his professional debut last year in the USL Championship with the LA Galaxy II, earning seven appearances total.
"Adrian is a young, developing talent that we believe will have a bright future with LA Galaxy II," said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. We are excited to have Adrian continue to progress within our organization and look forward to his continued development within our club."
Gonzalez made his professional debut for LA Galaxy II last year, appearing in seven games with one start in the USL Championship while still a member of the LA Galaxy Academy. He has represented the LA Galaxy Academy since 2019, where he has made eight appearances and scored one goal for the Galaxy U-16/17 and U-18/19 squads. At the international level, Gonzalez has featured for the Mexico U-16 and U-18 teams, earning a combined six appearances.
Before joining LA Galaxy Academy, Gonzalez signed with Liga MX Club C.F. Pachuca in 2018. Gonzalez began his youth career playing with Santa Rosa's Atletico.
LA Galaxy II will host their home opener for the 2021 USL Championship season against Sacramento Republic FC on Friday, April 30 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The 2021 season will mark the eighth year in LA Galaxy history.
