INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Saturday, April 2, 2022) - Playing their fourth match of the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season, LA Galaxy II earned a 1-1 draw on the road against Indy Eleven at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on April 2. Michael Salazar registered his first goal of the 2022 campaign in the draw against Indy.
Goal-Scoring Plays
LA - Michael Salazar, 35th minute: Indy goalkeeper Elliot Panicco was unable to cleanly claim a low cross by Cameron Dunbar from the top-right edge of the penalty area under pressure. Michael Salazar was first to the loose ball and his shot from a tight angle was fired into the far corner of the net.
IND - Raul Aguilera (Jonas Fjeldberg), 61st minute: A cross from the right wasn't handled cleanly, and in the ensuing battle for possession, Jonas Fjeldberg shuffled the ball back to Raul Aguilera, who controlled and shot through a crowd of players into the right corner of the net.

Saturday's match marked the first-ever meeting between LA Galaxy II and Indy Eleven.
LA earned its first road result of the 2022 campaign.
Michael Salazar registered his first career goal for LA in the draw.
Hamza Barry made his debut for Los Dos, starting and playing 90 minutes against Indy.
Barry was tied for a team-high two chances created in the match.
Jalen Neal finished the match with a game-high four tackles won and led LA with eight duels won.
