LOS ANGELES - Playing their eighth match of the 2023 campaign, LA Galaxy II fell 5-0 at home to Colorado Rapids 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park's Track & Field Stadium on Sunday night.
LA Galaxy Academy
Seven players with ties to the LA Galaxy Academy started in the match against Colorado: Carson Klein, Allan Legaspi, Riley Dalgado, Diego López, Adam Saldaña, Alex Alcalá and Jonathan Pérez. Additionally, four players with ties to the LA Galaxy Academy appeared as substitutes against Rapids 2: Juan Calderón, Adrián González, Brandon Téllez and Javier Zapien. Notably, Zapien made his professional debut, logging seven minutes in the loss to Colorado.
