Kudroch Inks Commitment to Return

Center Kyle Kudroch, who played last season for the Surge has decided to make his return to the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the upcoming year. Head Coach Jeff Bes made the announcement official last night on WLOX News.

The 5-foot-10, 185 pound Center scored 10 goals and added 12 assists for a total of 22 points last season for the Surge. The Cottam, Ontario native will be heading into his second professional hockey season with the Mississippi Surge this October.

"Kyle comes from a winning tradition and wants to bring that to the Gulf Coast this season," said Head Coach Jeff Bes. "The fans love him and we feel that he is a big piece to us having success this season."

Kudroch has been at home training this off season waiting on the call. "Biloxi was a great place to play last year and the fans are great," said Kudroch. "Coach Bes has a plan in place for the team this year and I definitely want to be apart of that."

The Surge will begin their fifth season of play in the SPHL in late October. All 28 home games for the Surge will be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS.
