
Kristin Chenoweth to Perform National Anthem at AT&T WNBA All-Star 2019

NEW YORK - The WNBA announced today that Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will perform the national anthem at AT&T WNBA All-Star 2019.
The 16th WNBA All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, July 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. ABC will televise AT&T WNBA All-Star 2019 live at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Chenoweth was honored with a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015 for her career in film, television, voiceover and stage. She earned the 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in "Pushing Daisies," along with receiving nominations in 2010 and 2011 as a guest star on "Glee." Chenoweth won the 1999 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," and was nominated in the leading actress category for "Wicked" in 2004.
Chenoweth's 2016 album, "The Art of Elegance," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Current Jazz and Traditional Jazz charts and Amazon's Vocal Pop chart. Her 2009 memoir, "A Little Bit Wicked," made the New York Times' Bestseller List.
Chenoweth's upcoming projects include the movies "The Christmas Song," which is scheduled to debut in November on the Hallmark Channel, and "Holidate," which is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2020. Her next album, "For The Girls" is set to be released in September.
Chenoweth formed a charity partnership with the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center (BAPAC) Foundation in her home state of Oklahoma and in 2012, Chenoweth's accomplishments were honored by the BAPAC with the "The Kristin Chenoweth Theatre." Chenoweth launched an annual Broadway Bootcamp in 2015 that provides young Broadway hopefuls with the opportunity to take classes, hold performances and learn from Chenoweth and other top mentors in the entertainment industry.
