Kristen Green Scores 25 as the OC Gladiators Defeat the Maywood Buzz 136-104

January 13, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Orange County Gladiators News Release

(Maywood, CA) The game was close at halftime as the Maywood Buzz carried a 55-54 lead going into the locker room. The Orange County Gladiators came out up tempo to start the 2nd half and was able to open and sustain a margin between 10-14 points. With 8:32 left to go in the game coach Tony Farmer reinserted Kristen Green back on the floor where she had scored 5 points in the first half. Green proceeded to connect on 6 of 8 from behind the 3 point line and assisted in blowing the game wide open in route to a 136-104 victory.

Green finished the game going 8 of 10 from the floor and 2 for 2 from the free throw line with seven three pointers as the Gladiators improved their record to 9-9. It was an amazing display from Green as she continues her journey as the third female player to play in the ABA. Tonight's performance is by far the most productive for a female playing for a men's professional league.

The Gladiators next home game is January 26th.
